It had been lookign ovely out there all day, a nice steady 16 knot wind, white caps all over the sea and the sun shining. When i got to the beach there was still a 16 knot wind but the clouds had obscured the sun. i couldn't decide whether to windsurf or kitesurf, so put my wetsuit on then checked the wind again. it had now dropped to 14-15 knots, so kite-surfing it was.

unfortunately by the time I got on the water the wind had dropped still further and although I could get going, staying upwind in the dead onshore winds was difficult, It did pick back up again for ten minutes, but soon dropped off after that.

It was too cold out there to stand around waiting for wind so that was it for the day.
